ARDATEM, founded in 1987 and currently employing around 800 people, is a subsidiary of the Gérard Perrier Industrie Group. ARDATEM operates in the energy sector, working on nuclear plants at various stages: studies, operation, and maintenance and also engages with industrial sites in the fuel cycle, thermal power plants, and research centers.

In 2025, ARDATEM UK Pvt Ltd. has started its operations in the United Kingdom to provide engineering consulting services, particularly in the fields of Control and Instrumentation (C&I), safety and electrical engineering. This includes installation, commissioning, and maintenance, as well as all on-site activities for the UK nuclear industry.

As part of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) nuclear project, you will join the Configuration Management team within Edvance/EPRe's Technical Direction. You will play a key role in managing and coordinating technical configuration activities, ensuring efficient implementation of the Design Change Process and contributing directly to the project's engineering performance.



Position Context

As part of the monitoring of our main equipment supplier for the Process Instrumentation scope, we are looking for an experienced Technical Lead.
The position involves providing technical oversight of all activities related to the design, procurement, manufacturing, and delivery of instrumentation equipment, while ensuring effective coordination between the supplier, the client, and internal engineering teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical clarifications and manage technical queries between the supplier and the client.
  • Lead the technical management of the supplier and support the Contract Engineering Lead in their contractual relationship with the client during the design, procurement, and delivery phases.
  • Monitor the manufacturing and delivery of all equipment to site.
  • Conduct technical reviews of supplier documentation and contribute to the annual surveillance report.
  • Identify and manage risks, opportunities, open points, design modifications, and deviation requests.
  • Manage contract transfer sheets that inform the client of contract modifications using dedicated tools.
  • Coordinate interfaces with EDVANCE disciplines involved in process instrumentation.
  • Contribute to the design and operation of EPR systems throughout the design, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the proper integration of detailed mechanical diagrams, functional diagrams, and 3D models within the associated engineering tools.
  • Review and validate modification requests issued by engineering teams, ensuring consistency and technical justification.

Required Technical Skills
  • Solid knowledge of RCC-E technical regulations and the relevant electrical standards (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909).
  • Proven experience in the nuclear industry, either through education or professional background.
  • Good understanding of the industrial project lifecycle within the energy sector.
  • Strong experience in technical document reviews.
  • Background in instrumentation equipment design, procurement, testing, or installation.
  • Profile
  • Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple interfaces (suppliers, clients, project teams).
  • Rigorous, autonomous, and analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in technical English, both written and spoken.
