ARDATEM, founded in 1987 and currently employing around 800 people, is a subsidiary of the Gérard Perrier Industrie Group. ARDATEM operates in the energy sector, working on nuclear plants at various stages: studies, operation, and maintenance and also engages with industrial sites in the fuel cycle, thermal power plants, and research centers.

In 2025, ARDATEM UK Pvt Ltd. has started its operations in the United Kingdom to provide engineering consulting services, particularly in the fields of Control and Instrumentation (C&I), safety and electrical engineering. This includes installation, commissioning, and maintenance, as well as all on-site activities for the UK nuclear industry.

As part of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) nuclear project, you will join the Configuration Management team within Edvance/EPRe's Technical Direction. You will play a key role in managing and coordinating technical configuration activities, ensuring efficient implementation of the Design Change Process and contributing directly to the project's engineering performance.

Main Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Layout Team Lead, you will contribute to general and specific installation studies within a major nuclear project. Your activities will include:
  • Assessing site requests and their potential impact on the layout.
  • Collecting required data and analyzing impacts across all disciplines and contractors.
  • Producing technical assessments and proposing solutions with justification (3D models, introduction notes, interfaces, installation tolerances, etc.).
  • Updatingdeliverables and proposing 3D model modifications in support of CAD designers.
  • Coordinating with other disciplines (HVAC, piping, civil, equipment, electrical), design offices, and construction teams.
  • Managing and following the dedicated change process for implementation.
  • Reporting progress, achievements, difficulties, and raising alerts to the Layout Team Lead.
  • Contributing to the closure of open points after delivery to site and ensuring lessons learned are captured.

Education & Experience

We are looking for a candidate with an engineering degree (or equivalent Master's level) and several years of relevant professional experience. Previous experience on EPR or other nuclear projects is required, along with strong proficiency in 3D software such as Navisworks. Solid experience in 3D visualization and layout analysis is essential, as well as a good understanding of general design and installation rules.
We also expect a thorough knowledge of nuclear power plant operations and the associated safety aspects (fire protection, flooding, radiation protection, high-energy line breaks, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and fluency in English, both spoken and written, are essential for this role.
In addition, the following will be considered as valuable assets: experience in nuclear site engineering, expertise in plant layout engineering, a solid understanding of the UK regulatory context and related processes, and experience on the HPC project. Familiarity with other 2D/3D software tools and fluency in French will also be considered strong advantages.

Key Skills

We are looking for a candidate with strong attention to detail and rigor, as well as excellent analytical and synthesis skills. The role requires effective communication abilities and the capacity to work seamlessly within a team environment. A proactive approach, combined with the ability to raise alerts on open technical issues, will be key to success in this position.
