The history of Gérard Perrier Industrie is closely linked to that of its founder.
Gérard Perrier is an automation engineer who closely followed the beginnings of automation in industry. Blessed with a consummate business streak, he decided to leave the large Group he was working for to set up on his own. He created SOTEB in 1967 at Belley in the Ain region and built up its order book by providing general electrical services.
